Our project's main aim is to generate youth led-community development processes that strengthen mechanisms of active participation and social responsibility of young people in marginalized community contexts in Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Romania and Greece that are characterized by a high proportion of young people at risk of social exclusion and educational poverty. The main objective of the BEYOU project is to foster the empowerment and active engagement of young leaders as "resources" for social change and sustainable development in their local communities and in the European society and to provide young people a meaningful voice on issues that matter to them directly in the framework of the recovery process in their local communities.
